You don't need to know everything. You just need to show up.
Whether you're a first-time parent coach or you've been doing this for years, we've got the resources to help you run sessions your players will actually enjoy.
Coaching at Macquarie United is one of the most rewarding things you can do at this club. It's also one of the most important. Every kid who falls in love with football does it because someone made training fun, made them feel included, and made them want to come back next week. That someone is you.
We don't expect you to be a professional coach. We expect you to care — and we'll give you everything else.
What We Give You
When you register as a coach with MUFC, you get access to our Coaches Hub — a password-protected resource library built specifically for our coaches. Inside you'll find:
Club resources — session plans, age-specific guides, and practical tools created by our club to help you plan training without starting from scratch every week.
Football Australia curriculum — the official coaching guides for every development phase, from MiniRoos through to seniors. These are the gold-standard resources that underpin grassroots coaching across Australia.
Playing formats and rules — the field sizes, team numbers, and modified rules for every age group so you know exactly what the game looks like on the weekend.
Coaching courses — links to free MiniRoos coaching certificates and Football NSW development courses. They're practical, they're short, and they'll make you a better coach overnight.
Everything is organised by age group so you can find what you need without digging through a pile of PDFs.
Access the Coaches Hub
The Coaches Hub is available to all registered MUFC coaches. When you sign on as a coach for the season, we'll give you the password.
