Terms and Conditions

Macquarie United Football Club Last updated: March 2026

About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Macquarie United Football Club website (macquarieunited.com.au) and any purchases made through our online shop. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We know this page isn't the most exciting read on the website. We've tried to keep it as human as possible while still covering what needs to be covered.

Who we are

Macquarie United Football Club (MUFC) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit grassroots football club based at Proctor Park, Bathurst NSW 2795. We are affiliated with the Bathurst District Football Association, Football NSW, and Football Australia. When we say "we", "us", or "our" in these terms, we mean Macquarie United Football Club.

Using this website

You may use this website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Use the site in any way that is unlawful or harmful

Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from this website without our permission

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, including the password-protected Coaches Hub

Use any content from our website — including text, images, logos, and branding — for commercial purposes without our written consent

We reserve the right to restrict or remove access to any part of the website at any time, without notice.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, images, photography, logos, branding, the MUFC crest, and the roo mascot — is owned by or licensed to Macquarie United Football Club unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our branding, logos, or content without prior written permission from the club. This includes using our logo or mascot on merchandise, marketing materials, or social media outside of official MUFC channels.

Online shop — merchandise purchases

Orders and payment

All merchandise purchases are made through our website using Squarespace Commerce. Payment is processed securely through Stripe or Square at the time of purchase. We do not store your payment details.

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. The price at the time of your order is the price you pay.

Order confirmation

You'll receive an email confirming your order. This confirmation does not guarantee availability — in the rare event that an item is out of stock after you've ordered, we'll contact you to arrange a refund or alternative.

Delivery

We offer two delivery options:

Collect at training or game day (free) — we'll notify you when your order is ready for collection at Proctor Park.

Delivery by post — shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Delivery timeframes depend on Australia Post and are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service.

Risk of loss passes to you upon collection or upon delivery by the postal service.

Returns and exchanges

We want you to be happy with your gear. If something isn't right, get in touch within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with tags attached.

We'll offer an exchange or store credit for eligible returns. Refunds to your original payment method will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after purchase are not eligible for return.

Custom or personalised items (if applicable) cannot be returned unless faulty.

To start a return, contact us at macquarieunited84@gmail.com.

Faulty items

If you receive an item that is faulty or damaged, contact us as soon as possible with a photo of the issue. We'll arrange a replacement or refund — your rights under Australian Consumer Law are not affected by anything in these terms.

Player registration

Player registration for Macquarie United Football Club is handled through PlayFootball (playfootball.com.au), managed by Football Australia. Registration is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policy of Football Australia and Football NSW — not the terms on this page.

We are not responsible for any issues arising from the PlayFootball registration platform. For PlayFootball support, contact support@playfootball.com.au or call 02 8880 7983.

Contact forms and enquiries

When you submit an enquiry through our website — whether it's a contact form, volunteer expression of interest, coaching enquiry, or sponsorship enquiry — we'll use the information you provide to respond to your message and for no other purpose.

Submitting an enquiry does not create any contractual obligation on either side. Sponsorship packages and volunteer roles are subject to separate agreements made outside of this website.

Coaches Hub

The Coaches Hub is a password-protected section of our website provided as a resource for registered MUFC coaches. Access is granted at the club's discretion and may be revoked at any time.

The coaching resources hosted on the Coaches Hub include materials owned by Macquarie United Football Club and materials owned by Football Australia. Football Australia materials are linked or provided under their terms and are subject to their copyright.

MUFC club-created resources are for use by registered MUFC coaches only and may not be shared, redistributed, or used outside of the club without written permission.

Sponsorship

Sponsorship information on our website is provided for general enquiry purposes only. The packages, pricing, and inclusions described are indicative and may change from season to season.

Sponsorship arrangements are formalised through separate agreements between MUFC and the sponsoring business. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding sponsorship offer or contract.

External links

Our website contains links to third-party websites including PlayFootball, Football NSW, Football Australia, the Dribl app, Service NSW, and our social media pages. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of any external site. Use of those sites is at your own risk.

All information on the website is current, complete, or error-free

The website will be available at all times without interruption

The website is free from viruses or other harmful components

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUFC and its volunteers are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from your use of this website or reliance on any information provided on it.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Macquarie United Football Club and its volunteers, committee members, coaches, and representatives from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of this website or any breach of these terms.
